AdBlue® is an essential fluid used in modern diesel vehicles equipped with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems to reduce harmful nitrogen oxide (NOₓ) emissions. To ensure safe use, Barton Petroleum provides the AdBlue material safety data sheet for CleanAirBlue®, outlining health and safety information in accordance with UK regulations.
AdBlue is a non-toxic, colourless, odourless liquid made of 32.5% high-purity urea and 67.5% deionised water. It is not a fuel or fuel additive but is injected into the exhaust system of diesel engines to convert NOₓ emissions into harmless nitrogen and water vapour.
Used widely in:
Commercial haulage fleets
Agricultural machinery
Buses, coaches, and off-road vehicles
Euro 5 and Euro 6 compliant diesel cars and vans
Although AdBlue is considered low-risk, we still provide a material safety data sheet (MSDS). The AdBlue MSDS provides critical information for those storing, handling, or transporting AdBlue in commercial or industrial settings.
The official CleanAirBlue® MSDS provided by Barton Petroleum includes the following:

At Barton Petroleum, we supply CleanAirBlue® AdBlue in IBCs, barrels, or bulk deliveries.
