Great British Food Gets My Vote was launched recently at NFU Conference, and you may have noticed adverts in the national press and banners in fields around the country.
The “Great British Food Gets My Vote“ campaign urges politicians to back British farming and asks the British public to ‘vote’ for Great British food in order to highlight the importance of food production in Great Britain during the lead up to the General Election on 8 May 2015.
NFU Deputy President Minette Batters said: “It is so important that food and farming is recognised for the key role it plays, not only in producing food but in its contribution to the country’s economy, in creating jobs, as well as the rural landscape that attracts millions of tourists every year.
